2007 PURIM FAST AND FEAST OF ESTHER  3/05/07  (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM)
2007 Purim Fast and Feast of Esther was actually a three days fasting and prayer event(Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday)programme.

we observed the days with the Israelites (God's own people) in the light of the Holy Spirit and according to the "Fast mandate" Esther gave to her people because of Haman their Prime Minister then.

In the book of (Esther 3:5-7) we read that Haman, the Prime Minister of Persia and enemy of the Jews, observed a certain Jewish man, Mordechai, who refused to bow before Haman or pay homage, because he was a servant of God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and did not want to bow to anyone except to the Lord, keeping His commandments.

As a result of Mordechai’s behavior, Haman sought to destroy all of the Jews throughout the Persian Empire. As he cast the lot (purim) to determine the day and month to destroy the Jews, it fell on the 13th day of Adar. Thus, Haman wrote against the Jews giving all the provinces of Persia the royal power to kill the Jewish people on the determined day. But God intervened and gave them victory.

We celebrated this Feast of Esther to break the fast with them because The victory of the Jewish people in the book of Esther points to the victory of God over Satan; the power of our faith through prayer and fasting over the contempt of the wicked against the righteous.

Also Purim points to the preservation and redemption of God’s people through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary.

It was a wonderful and exciting days in God's presence!

2007 PENTECOST CELEBRATION  5/22/07  (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM)
This 2007 Pentecost Celebration lasted for two days Tuesday 22nd and Thursday 24th April 2007. We celebrate Pentecost because it is a layed down principle for us as believers. Pentecost was actually first mentioned in the New Testament as the occasion for the outpouring of the Spirit of God upon the disciples of Christ, an event that many theologians understand as marking the beginning of the church (Acts 2:1). Since Pentecost was a required festival, Jews gathered from great distances to observe the Feast in Jerusalem, making it an appropriate time for God’s work. On two occasions Paul takes into consideration the Festival of Pentecost when anticipating his travels. In the first instance he writes to the Corinthians about delaying his visit to them after Pentecost (1 Corinthians 16:8), while later he was desirous of traveling to Jerusalem to get there in time for Pentecost (Acts 20:16).

To us the Day of Pentecost is, indeed, the Feast of First fruit “and that of the giving of the better law,” written not in tables of stone; but on the fleshly tables of the heart with the Spirit of the living God. For (on that same day) as the Jewish worshippers were in the Temple in Jerusalem probably just as they waving the wave-lambs and the wave-bread, the multitude heard that “sound from heaven, as of a mighty rushing wind” which drew them to the house (Upper Room) where the Apostles were gathered there to hear “every man in his own language” the wonderful works of God.

We are therefore thanking God that we now have a direct access to Him, and that We can now commuion with Him because He has written His law in our hearts and not of stones. Halleluha!

FEAST OF TRUMPETS DAY 1  9/14/07  (5:30 PM - 8:00 PM)
The blowing of trumpets is a sign of the return of Christ and memorial of God’s grace to Abraham when He substituted a ram to be sacrificed instead of Isaac (Gen 22). Isaac is a type of foreshadowing of Christ. Just as Abraham offered his son on the altar, God offered His son on Calvary’s altar. Hebrews 11:17-19 says “By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, that in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.” Both Isaac’s and Christ’s births were miracles. Both were obedient to the point of sacrifice. Here are some Messianic significance of the Feast of Trumpets:

(1.) SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Trumpets were used in giving signals of war. Jesus is the commander of the army of God. The Jewish people were looking for a deliverer who would defeat the Roman army. Jesus came, the first time, to defeat the work of Satan and the sin in men’s hearts. “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it” (Col 2:15). Israel often blew trumpets to alert its army and regular population that battle was imminent.

In the same way this feast speaks to the Christian about spiritual warfare. “Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rules of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Eph 6:11-13). Jesus is our armor because He defeated Satan. When we put on Christ we will triumph over evil forces. Trumpets were and still are, symbols that indicated an alarm for war.

(2.) THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS MAPS THE ARRIVAL OF JESUS CHRIST

This Biblical festival helps us understand why Jesus Christ must return and reveals how and what He will do when He arrives.

The rapture refers to the coming of Christ, but not to the physical earth. It refers to a moment when Jesus comes in the clouds, the dead in Christ rise to meet the Lord in the air, and those who are alive are changed in an instant, in the blinking of an eye, to an eternal, immortal body.

It also revels what happens to His true followers, both those who are still alive and those who are “dead in Christ,” at His coming. Both are transformed immediately to immortal children of God (1 Corinthians 15:22-23, 42-44, 50-53). Jesus gathers His elect (see 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17), who will afterward follow Christ when He descends on the Mount of Olives (Revelation 19:14; John 18:36).

The book of Revelation likewise shows blowing of trumpets in preparation for Jesus’ return. The fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets is loudly sounded in Revelation 8:11 where the seven trumpets of God warn of major cataclysmic events. These trumpet blasts serve as the prelude to the seven last plagues of Revelation 16.

The Feast of Trumpets symbolizes the return of Christ, the most pivotal and well-mapped-out event in all of human history. When Christians celebrate the Feast of Trumpets, they are in a sense acting out in advance a great symbol of their salvation.

(3.) THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS SIGNALS A RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD

The apostle Paul spoke of this event: “For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming” (1 Corinthians 15:21-23)

Paul further explained: “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first” (1 Thessalonians 4:16), immediately followed by the people of God who are alive at that time (verse 17)

Revelation 20:5 describes this as the “first resurrection.” This change to immortal life was the hope of early Christians and remains the fervent hope of those who understand God’s plan.

In the book of Romans, Paul describes this resurrection as a glorious deliverance from bondage: “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God...because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God...And not only they, but we also who have the firstfruits of the spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body” (Romans 8:19,21,23).

(4.) THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS SIGNIFIES THE COMING OF JESUS TO ESTABLISH THE MESSAINIC KINGDOM

The Feast of Trumpets depicts nothing less than the return of Jesus Christ to earth to establish the kingdom of God! The book of Revelation revels a sequence of earth-shaking events depicted by angles sounding a series of seven trumpet blasts. The seventh angle’s sounding of the last trumpet signifies that “the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ” (Revelation 11:15). The return of Jesus Christ stands as the final and most significant event associated with the blowing of the prophetic trumpets. Of all the prophecies in the Bible, this one surely heralds the most exciting news possible for this weary, sin –filled world!

The Feast of Trumpets also marks the future fulfillment of the many Old Testament prophecies that speak of a Messiah coming as a king who will rule with power and authority. The concept of a conquering Messiah was on the minds of the apostles immediately after Jesus’ resurrection. When He appeared to them in those early days, they asked questions such as: “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” (Acts 1:6).

Even in His earthly ministry, Jesus had spoken of distinctions between His first and second coming. When Pontius Pilate, the governor of Judea, questioned Jesus just before the crucifixion, Jesus stated clearly that He had not come to rule at that time.

“My kingdom is not of this world, “Jesus told the government official. “If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” Then Pilate asked Him, “Are you a king then?” Jesus answered in the affirmative: “you say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth” (John 18:36-37).

After Christ’s resurrection, the apostles excitedly anticipated the fulfillment of Jesus’ promises. They were aware of messianic prophecies such as Isaiah’s that describe a time during which “the government will be upon His shoulder and of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end” (Isaiah 9:6-7).

In answer to the apostles’ question when they asked Him if He would soon establish the kingdom, Jesus told them they were not to know “times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority” (Acts 1:7). Instead, Christ told them to focus on spreading the gospel-the good news- throughout the world. Later, in due time, the apostles realized that Christ’s second coming was not necessary imminent. Numerous scriptures describe the saints as eagerly looking forward to Christ’s return.

DAY OF ATONEMENT  9/21/07  (5:30 PM - 8:00 PM)
DAY OF ATONEMENT is one of many news items or upcoming events at Jesus Life Assembly. Call us at 2348033069977 to get more information about this and other news and events concerning our church.

THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES DAY 1  9/27/07  (5:30 PM - 8:00 PM)
God’s plan for mankind involves restoration. The Feast of Tabernacles symbolizes the restoration process, which will start with the return of Jesus Christ, pictured by the Feast of Trumpets, and the banishment of Satan, depicted by the Day of Atonement. Once these events have taken place, as represented by the previous Holy Days, the foundation is in place for the restoration of the creation to peace and harmony with God.

The seven-day Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 23:27,34) pictures the 1,000-year reign of Jesus Christ over the earth after His second coming (Revelation 20:4). This period is often called the Millennium, which simply means “1,000 years.”

This Feast also reflects the “rest” symbolized by the weekly Sabbath (Hebrews 4:1-11) that celebrates the great harvest of humanity when all living people will learn God’s ways. Humanity will at last be restored to a right relationship with God (Isaiah 11:9-10).

The name of the Feast of Tabernacles derives from God’s command to ancient Israel to build temporary “tabernacles,” sometimes called “booths,” to live in during the festival. The Israelites left their houses and built temporary dwelling places (Hebrew succah, meaning “hut of woven boughs”) to live in while rejoicing before God. These reminded them of their release from slavery and their dwelling in booths when God brought them out of Egypt (Leviticus 23:34, 41-43). In stark contrast to the hardship of slavery, this festival emphasizes rest, peace and prosperity as it meets the needs of all people, including strangers, widows and the poor.

The Bibles emphasizes that, as with booths or temporary dwellings, our physical life is transitory. The Apostle Paul’s writings reflect this theme: “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven” (2 Corinthians 5:1-2, KJV)

Hebrews 11 recounts the examples of many of God’s faithful servants down through the centuries. It then concludes that “these all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth” (verse 13).

The Feast of Tabernacles is an annual reminder of our temporary state and that we also “seek a homeland” (verse 14). This lesson is reinforced when we travel to a site of the Feast of Tabernacles and stay in temporary dwellings such as hotels and campgrounds.

This festival reminds us that, in spite of our material possessions, we are still mortals in need of a literal transformation so we may possess eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:50-54)

THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES DAY 2  9/28/07  (5:30 PM - 8:00 PM)
THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES DAY 2 is one of many news items or upcoming events at Jesus Life Assembly. Call us at 2348033069977 to get more information about this and other news and events concerning our church.

2007 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER FOR JERUSALEM AND NIGERIA  10/07/07  (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
International day of prayer for Jerusalem and Nigeria is a day set aside for prayers.

A day to cry unto God for our Country Nigeria and Jerusalem as ordered by God.The church observed the 2007 DPPJ on Sunday 7th October 2007. The service which began by 9.00 am ended by 12.30pm on that day. Pastor Mrs. Ifeoma E. Chukwuogo kicked off the service with an introduction of the day. A session of praise and worship followed then the Bible reading from Psalm 122. Songs about Jerusalem were rendered after which the Senior Pastor – Pastor Wisdom Israel gave a sermon on the need for DPPJ. Earnest prayers were then said to the God of Israel led by some members of the Pastoral Team. Church members then gave financial offering to bless the people of Israel .

PASTOR'S APPRECIATION DAY  10/21/07  (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
Our church celebrated the yearly Pastor’s Appreciation Day on Sunday 21st October 2007 during the celebration Sunday Service.

The day is a day set aside to appreciate the Pastors of the church, who labour in the word and prayers day in day out for us. “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a Preacher?” Romans 10:14

The Bible also says in 1st Corinthians 9:11, 13, and 14 says “11. If we have sown (the seed of) spiritual good among you, (is it too) much if we reap from your material benefits? 13. Do you not know that those men who are employed in the services of the temple get their food from the temple? And that those who tend the altar share with the altar (in the offerings brought)? 14. (On the same principle) the Lord directed that those who publish the good news (the Gospel) should live (get their maintenance) by the Gospel.”

We believe in celebrating the Shepherd because at the end of the day, he will be strengthened to continue in God’s vineyard on our behalf.

This year’s Pastor’s Appreciation day came up in a grand style as every member expressed love to our Pastors in cash, kind, prayers and encouragement.

Special revelation about Ministers and the word came forth powerfully from Pastor Allen Hart, of the Mercyland Area of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Port Harcourt with the topic “Why members do not appreciate their pastors”.

The General Coordinator, the Senior Pastor, and other members of the Pastoral Team, were present to grace the occasion and to receive their gift items to the glory of God.

WOMEN'S CONVENTION  10/28/07  (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
JESUS LIFE ASSEMBLY WOMEN CONVENTION 2007

The just concluded Jesus Life Assembly Women Convention held on Friday 2nd to Saturday 4th November, 2007, tagged “POSITIVE CHANGE” was really a life transforming event. It was open to all (women, men, youths and children) who were willing and able to attend. The Senior Pastor of the church and some members of the Pastoral Team were Present.

The programme kicked –off gloriously on Friday, with praise and worship, testimonies of what God has been doing in the lives of the women and all the members of the church, special ministrations and the word which came forth powerfully from pastor Peace with the topic “IMITATING CHRIST”.

It was made clear to all in attendance, that every positive change they desire will be effected in their lives, if they strive to be like Christ, by activating those Christ-like attitudes on their inside. These attitudes includes: love, humility, compassion, obedience, and submission. Ways in which Christ and people in the Bible (e.g Paul, David, Joseph & Ruth) who lived Christ-like lives, exhibited these attitudes, were well elaborated. It was established that everyone can live like Christ, as long as the Holy Spirit dwells in them, but this can only come true when one decides and submits to the direction of the Holy Spirit.

A higher step of glory was experienced on the second day being Saturday. The General Coordinator, the Senior Pastor, and other members of the Pastoral Team, were present to grace the programme. Revelations on the topic “IMITATING CHRIST”, continued by the same speaker – Pastor Peace. The second day emphasis was on the ways through which negative attitudes can be overcome. The speaker said that to overcome negative attitudes, one must;

• Acknowledge one’s sins – “A problem discovered is a problem half solved”.

• Study the word of God, where the life of Christ and the mind of God can be seen clearly.

• Be prayerful - Women like Hannah and Esther, brought about positive changes in their lives and those of people around them through prayers.

The attendees were encouraged to “work out their salvation”, because “Godly character is not earned but must be worked out”.

Sunday, being the grand finale, was the peak of the programme. The women, all colourfully adorned, celebrated Christ in various ways – praises, testimonies, special presentations and gift to the church. It was also graced by the presence of the General Coordinator, Pst. (Mrs) I.E Chukwuogo, who spoke passionately on the topic: “THE STRONGMAN: THE ENEMY OF POSITIVE CHANGE”. She urged everyone to give no room for the strongman, being the devil, who is constantly against any positive change in the lives of Christians and is always crouching at the door of their hearts, waiting for any loophole to maximize. Some of the doors which every Christian must keep shut are:

• The door of inherited weakness (Ex. 20:5) • The door of crisis and • Ignorance of the word of God (Hos. 4:6)

The devil achieves his aim by introducing some negative Spirits which are the root causes of negative attitudes in the lives of Christians. They include:

1. The spirit of fear (2Tim. 1:7). – this manifests with the following symptoms: Faithlessness, nightmares, fear of man, anxiety, and torment.

2. Spirit of Divination (Acts 15:16-18) – manifests as rebellion, enchanting and stubbornness.

3. Familiar Spirits (Lev. 19:37; Is. 8:19).

4. The Spirit of Jealousy (Prov. 13:10) – manifests as anger, rage, hatred, extreme competition, strife and envy.

5. Lying Spirit (2 Chron. 18:22) – this is the root cause of lying, flattery, gossip, false teaching, superstition, false accusation.

6. Perverse Spirit (Is. 19:14) – manifests as evil actions, pornography, and incest.

7. Spirit of Pride (Ex. 16:49-50) – this is the root cause of pride, idleness, scornful, self-righteousness.

8. Spirit of Haughtiness (Prov. 16:18) – this is the root cause of arrogance, self deception, idleness, pride.

9. Spirit of Heaviness (Is. 61:3) – manifest as excessive grief, depression, suicidal thought, lingering disorders, allergies, etc.

10. Spirit of Bondage (Rom. 8:15) – manifests as addictions (alcohol, drugs, etc), servant of corruption and sin.

11. Spirit of Infirmity (Lk. 13:11-13) – this is the root cause of lingering disorders, bent body, impotence, weakness.

12. Spirit of Whoredom (Hos. 5:4) – this manifests as chronic dissatisfaction, unfaithfulness, idolatry (love of money, pleasure, etc.), excessive appetite.

13. Seducing Spirit (1 Tim. 4:1) – manifests as seared conscience, fascination to evil ways, objects or persons.

14. Spirit of Anti-Christ (1 Jn. 4:3) – against Christ and His teachings, denies the deity of Christ, denies atonement, humanism, lawlessness.

15. Spirit of Error (1 Jn. 4:6) – unteachable, false doctrines, unsubmissive to the word of God, error and doctrines of devils.

Every Christian must not focus on the symptoms, but on the root causes. The spirits (i.e. the root causes), must be cast out and the Lord Jesus Christ must be put on as can be seen in Romans 13:12-14.

When this is done, then and only then, can positive change be effected and positive attitudes developed. The programme was well attended with over two hundred person in all, in attendance.

HANUKKAH FEAST  12/08/07  (5:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
Hanukkah is an annual festival of the Jews celebrated on eight successive days to honor the restoration of divine worship in the Temple after it had been defiled by heathens. The return of their religious liberty was to them as life from the dead and, in remembrance of it, they kept an annual holiday on the twenty-fifth day of Kislev. Kislev is the third month of the Jewish calendar corresponding, approximately, to early December in the Gregorian calendar. Jesus kept this festival (John 10:22-23 …And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter; 23. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch). The principal source for the story of Hanukkah is found in the Talmud. The biggest lesson of Hanukkah was the power of the spirit, the ability of God’s people to live by God’s commands. …Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts (Zech 4:6).

The law did not require Jews to be at the Temple in Jerusalem, as this was not one of the pilgrimage festivals. Everyone observed it in his own place, not as a holy time. Jesus was there that He might improve those eight days of holiday for good purposes. John 10:22-23…And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter; 23. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch).

Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch when the Sadduciens asked him “How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ tell us.” They pretended to want to know the truth, as if they were ready to embrace it; but it was not their intention.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and l know them, and they follow me (John 10:25-27).

He had told them, and they believed not; why then should they should be told again, merely to gratify their curiosity?

Hanukkah’s theme is of a miracle. During Hanukkah Jesus spoke of His miracles: If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him (John 10:37-38).

Jesus wanted the people of his day to see His miracles and believe in Him as a result. His miracles point to his divine and messianic identity. In this way Yeshua personifies the message of Hanukkah: God activity involved in the affairs of his people. Hanukkah reminds us that God is a God of miracles, not just of concept and religious ideals. He has broken through into human history and continues to do so today. All of us who know Yeshua can speak of God’s working in our lives.

THE Hanukkah festival took place on Saturday 8th December 2007 in a very remarkable way with all the Pastoral team in attendance and Pastor Emma Sengari from Bauchi to celebrate with the church.

the General Overseer, Pastor Mrs Ifeoma Chukwuogo explained in detals the biblical significance of Hanukkah.

we were all blessed spiritually and physically.

2008 WOMEN'S CONVENTION  11/28/08  (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Women’s Convention 2008

The Women’s Convention which held from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th November, 2008, was really a great time of word, praise and celebrations. The women and all members of Jesus Life Assembly came very expectant, because conventions are usually a time of receiving various breakthroughs.

The kick-off on Friday started with a hot praise and worship session, testimonies by women on the various blessings of God on their lives as women of Jesus Life Assembly, and the word that came through one of the pastors of the church Pastor Peace Philandrous on the topic “One Thing is Needful” (Lk. 10:38-42); being the theme of the convention. God through the speaker, urged the women and all present to always hold on to and focus on that one thing that is needful, which is the word of God.

The second day had the morning and the evening session. The workshop held in the morning session with the General Overseer of Jesus Life Assembly, Pst. (Mrs.) Ifeoma Chukwuogo, offered a treasure which every woman would not fail to keep. It was a practical exposition on the various uses of soya beans which is highly rich in protein. Women were also given tips on how to build their homes and housekeeping. The evening session was a dinner for couples. Couples were given some powerful tips on how to sustain and enjoy their marriages, from the bible and from the personal experience of the General Overseer, Pst. Mrs. Ifeoma Chukwuogo in her 25years of marriage. There was also a question and answer session. All this were going on in between a lot of eating and drinking. It was a memorable time-out for all couples present.

Sunday, being the grand-finale of the program, was a time of celebration. The women all colourfully dressed in white and blue Nigerian attire, were radiating to the glory of God. The word for the day came powerfully through the General Overseer, Pst. (Mrs.) Ifeoma Chukwuogo, with the topic “Marys in a Martha’s World”. By looking closely at these two characters from the bible, she further emphasized that having a close personal relationship with Jesus like Mary, should be of top priority, and then this can now be blended with Martha’s physical service to Him.

All present for this program were greatly blessed in various aspects of their lives.

2008 CHOIR CONVENTION (TEHILAH 3)  12/07/08  (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Choir Convention Report

This year’s Choir Convention tagged “TEHILAH 3” with the theme “In The Beauty of His Holiness” was held from 5th – 7th December, 2008. From the name “TEHILAH”; a Hebrew word which means to “sing”, the Choir Convention is usually a time of praising God in an extraordinary way.

The first day, being Friday 5th December, was a time of praising God in hymns and various instruments. Instrumentalists were invited to minister in instrument. A brief word on the topic “The Four Ps of Breakthrough Praise and Worship” was given by the General Overseer, Pst. (Mrs.) Ifeoma Chukwuogo.

The second day, 6th December, was a time of choir ministrations. The church choir and invited choirs, ministered in songs to the glory of God. The word for the day came through the Senior Pastor of the church, Pst. Wisdom Israel on the topic “Purity in Worship”. He made every one to understand that praise and worship are acceptable to God, only when it is coming from a pure heart.

Sunday was a very glorious day of crowning the convention. There was a praise and worship session and then the Jesus Life Choir dramatized the “Beauty of the Throne” as seen in Revelations 4 & 5. The Jesus Life Teenage Church Choir and other invited choirs, also ministered in songs. The word came powerfully from a praise and worship minister, Sister Florence Emmanuel on the topic “In the Beauty of His Holiness”. She further emphasized that what makes worship beautiful is holiness. And everyone who wants to worship the Lord should have a lifestyle of holiness as it is done in heaven.
